“Consciously Speaking” is an e-book devised by the communications consultancy Avian WE in a strategic partnership with the Rainbow Lit Fest – Queer & Inclusive, Released with the support of the apex chamber of commerce – FICCI – the book aims to address the unconscious bias that people may exhibit with respect to subjects pertaining to gender and sexuality. The creation of the book involved several individuals with the first step being taken by Rehan Mohammad, an independent consultant on social development. The book also went through a critical read by Shaonli Chakraborty of Swasti and Maisnam Arnapal who assessed the contents with an eye of literature and queerness. The design for the book was by queer artist, Diya Sengupta.
