Sahitya Gupta (he/him) is currently working as a Programme coordinator at Nazariya: A Queer Feminist Resource Group. His journey began as a field worker at Nazariya where he built connections with the LBQT community for Covid relief work and then for livelihood options and programmes. From being a field worker to a Programme Coordinator he has seen it all. His biggest achievement is his knowledge of the grassroots and its politics. Currently as a Programme Coordinator, he facilitates easy document change for transgender persons and assisting them with finding reliable doctors for surgeries. He has also been assisting trans persons in obtaining TG certificates and other government documents. He is also coordinating the crisis intervention and advocacy unit at Nazariya where he does advocacy work with various government institutions to build capacities to understand queer and trans persons issues.
