Sindhu Rajasekaran

Sindhu Rajasekaran (she/her/ள்) is an author, filmmaker, and researcher. Her debut novel Kaleidoscopic Reflections was nominated for the Crossword Book Award, and her latest nonfiction work, Smashing the Patriarchy, has garnered critical acclaim. Her poetry and prose have been featured in prestigious international literary magazines and anthologies, including The Room (a Canadian feminist magazine), New Writing Scotland 42 by the Association of Scottish Literature, and the Asia Literary Review.

Sindhu has also produced the award-winning Indo-British feature film Ramanujan. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Strathclyde, where she is a recipient of the Dean’s Global Research Award. Her research focuses on queer South Asian histories, creative epistemologies, and decolonial storytelling from a queer perspective.
