Sonali Khan is an LGBTQIA+ rights activist and social entrepreneur based in Delhi. As the Founder and Executive Director of the GLAD Foundation, she is dedicated to creating inclusive workplaces and empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals. Sonali has worked in various corporate roles before transitioning to the social impact sector, frequently advocating for gender sensitization in corporate spaces in India. Recognized for her leadership, she has completed fellowships with The Red Door, CREA, and Leading With Pride, honing her skills in digital safety, disability, mental health, and gender advocacy. Sonali has participated in various innovation challenges and worked with incubators such as UNDP’s YouthCoLab and Change Engine’s ACE program. With over six years of experience in corporate and social impact sectors, she has worked across multiple domains, empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals through career development and community programs. Sonali’s efforts are fueled by her personal experiences and an unwavering belief in collective action to foster societal acceptance and drive meaningful progress toward an inclusive society.
