Sudipto Pal is a writer, statistician, and data scientist. He regularly writes on LGBT topics as well as cultural and art history for major Bengali publications, including Anandabazar Patrika. Sudipto holds a postgraduate degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and works in a leadership role in data science and behavioral economics. He has established and led employee resource groups for the LGBT community at his workplace, spearheading policies, hiring plans, and sensitization programs to foster inclusivity.
His non-fiction book Samakamita O Bibartan has helped demystify homosexuality and its evolutionary aspects for common readers in Bengali. Sudipto currently resides in Bangalore with his partner.
