Vivek is the Head of the Institute of International Education (IIE) India and has spent several years managing scholarship and fellowship programs for the British Council and the Ford Foundation. Based in New Delhi, he is a former Director of Arts for the British Council. In addition to his administrative roles, Vivek produces, directs, and acts in theatre and films, primarily in English. He is also the Artistic Director of the theatre group Scene Stealers.
